ADPH seeks partnerships to combat HIV/AIDS in youth

The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is currently seeking proposals from community organizations and other entities to combat HIV/AIDS in youth and adolescents, according to a press release from the department.
With state funding, the department’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care is seeking proposals related to preventative services promoting school and community partnerships.
The proposals should support a statewide initiative.
“The purpose of this acquisition is to support prevention activities that reduce risk behaviors associated with the transmission of HIV among adolescents,” said division director Sharon Jordan.
Organizations interested in participating must be a documented 501(c) (3) entity or a state government agency.
The deadline for proposals is March 11.
