A stolen pick up truck crashed into two convenience stores in Dallas County on Tuesday morning, according to Dallas County Sheriff Deputy John Strickland.
Strickland said a White F-250 truck was stolen out of Selma and crashed into both places early Tuesday morning. He said the damage cost several thousands of dollars in both places.
Strickland also said a surveillance video showed the truck crashing into the side of Richard’s Cougar Oil convenience store in Sardis. About 37 minutes later, Strickland said another video showed the same truck crashing through the front door at Doc’s Grocery on Highway 14 in Burnsville.
After the second crash, Strickland said the stolen truck was later found abandoned on the Selma bypass near the flea market between 3-5 a.m. Tuesday.
