The Christian Outreach Alliance Food Pantry’s Stock the Shelves Food and Fundraiser will be this Friday, Oct. 26.

This is the only community-wide fundraiser the pantry has and it happens only once a year.

The pantry, located at 700 J.L. Chestnut Blvd. and Mabry Street, will be available for donations that day.

“Please drive through the pantry lot at 700 J.L. Chestnut and Mabry St. and make a food or fund donation. We’d also appreciate your asking your friends, family members, co-workers and others to do likewise,” said Jacque Johnson, a volunteer with the pantry. “There are many groups that will drop off collections on this day or we will pick up at a place of business, school, and others on this day or at a later date. The difference the COA Food Pantry makes in the lives of many needy citizens of Dallas County is because these people help and care.”
