Khya Thomas said she views being second in command of the SGA crucial to her growing process.

Jackson said being selected as Treasurer marks a huge achievement in her life.

“I always wanted to be part of something big,” Jackson said. “This position allows me to help out the college and community.”

Selma City Councilman President Corey Bowie, the SGA advisor, praised the leadership qualities of the new officers.  He’s also the educational talent recruiter and AE & Retention Advisor at WCC-Selma.
