The Bloom House will soon be celebrating another year of service for Dallas County.

This organization has spent countless hours helping children.

Not just any child but specifically the children in foster care systems.

In 2015, Kristen Jones realized the need to help foster children and started on her mission to start an orphan based ministry.

Thus Bloom became a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit last year.

“We work closely with local child welfare agencies, churches and members of the community to shine a light on the need for each of us to do our part to defend the cause of the fatherless and bring justice to vulnerable children,” Jones said. “God’s faithful provision and the generosity of the community has made this ministry possible and through this we look forward to the day that we will see our city rebuilt and homes restored.”

We commend this organization and the work it does and we celebrate with them as they recognize their anniversary.

The Bloom House will open its doors to visitors today beginning at 4:30 p.m.  as the organization celebrates its anniversary.

We encourage everyone to celebrate with them.
