It has been a long campaign road, but Jimmy Nunn has emerged victorious in the Dallas County Probate Judge race.

Campaigning is not an easy task. It requires funds, willpower and an extraordinary amount of time to get your face out in the public and to state your case of why people should vote for you.

We think that both men did amazing work during their time on the campaign trail, and commend both of them for looking past all of the outside incidents that have occurred recently.

Running a clean campaign, and having the commendable class and sophistication these two candidates have shown throughout this election is something that all candidates can take a note from as they prepare their own campaigns.

Keeping the high road, and running on facts and issues instead of derogatory remarks and smear campaigns show the type of people these two men are.

We believe that Nunn will do well in this office, and we support the voters’ decision.
