On Wednesday afternoon, United for the City campers gathered at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma for a moment of prayer.

“What would the Dallas County and Selma community look like if the entire body of Christ were united to serve our community and worship together without any denominational walls being in place?” according to a release from the church. “United 2018 will lead the community by training students in grades 7-12 to revere their faith and provide opportunities to serve Selma through week-long mission projects.”
