Mr. Edward Strowder, 54, of Selma, passed away June 18, 2018 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 23, 2018, 11 a.m. at Freedom Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his spouse, Susie M. Brooks; sons, Earnest (Tomeika) Brooks, Tony (Barbara) Brooks, and Willie Brooks; daughters, Angela (Sam) Brooks, Regina (Edward) Jones; brothers, Joseph Strowder, John Strowder, and Donald Strowder; sisters, Mary (Johnny) Hunter, Paralee (Ricky) Johnson; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; the Avery family.
