Charles Floyd Pitts, age 82, of Valley Grande, passed away June 12, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Ina Gertrude Pitts and daughter, Melba Sellers.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn J. Pitts; children, Debbie Miley, Phyllis Parten, Doug Pitts and Billy (Angie) Pitts; brother, Jamie (Faye) Pitts; sister, Betty Bailey; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. in New Live Oak with Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Johnson, Alex Goodwin, B.J. Moore, Derrick Boswell, Mark Boswell, David Jones, Will Pitts and Dale Boswell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Valley Grande Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
