Mr. Grady Max Jones age 89, of Camden, AL passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Wilcox County and served in the Army National Guard. Mr. Jones was retired from the city of Camden at the age 72 where he worked as a civil engineer. He enjoyed cattle farming and was a member of Camden Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Melton Jones and Lucille Lewis Jones and his daughter Deborah Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Ann Jones of Camden; three sisters Inez Taylor of Camden  Ernestine Floyd of Gainsville, Florida and Barbara Jones Manning of Monroeville, ; nephews Mike Floyd of Gainsville, Florida and Mark Manning of Brewton, AL and nieces Monica Barrett of Jacksonville, FL Melanie Champion of Excel, AL, Melissa D’Marco of Orlando, Florida, Michelle Goodson of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Debbie Huggart of Birmingham.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Camden Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at Camden Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Wells officiating. Interment will be at Camden Baptist Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bear Creek Baptist Cemetery Fund, 2075 Co Rd 45 Camden 36726.
