Willie James Hardy, 66, of Selma, passed away April 2, 2018, at his home. Services are scheduled for April 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Ashley’s J.H. Williams Chapel with the Rev. Chris Minter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul CME in Lowndes County with Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing. He is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Hardy; father, John Shine; special aunt, Thelma Blunt who raised him like a son. He is survived by spouse, Rosa Garner Hardy; special cousin, Velma Griffin; devoted cousin, Al Page; good friends, Gertrude Scott, Marcus Garner, Ahaja Scott, and Anthony Scott; host of other relatives and cousins.
