The Morgan Academy Senators Track and Field team hosted its second meet of the season at Memorial Stadium this past Monday. There were 30 other schools that participated in the AISA track and field meet, including Meadowview Christian School.

The Senators girls finished in third place overall with 80 points, and the boys finished in fourth place overall with 60.5 points. Here are the results:

Girls shot put: Caroline Thomas 26 feet, 10 inches (first-place).

Girls Discuss: Caroline Thomas 70 feet, three inches (third-place).

Boys long jump: Hardin Utsey 20-6 (first-place). Dione Allen 19-10 inches (fourth-place). Sam Brackin 19-5 ½ (fifth-place).

Boys triple jump: Hardin Utsey 41-9 (first-place). Ed Williams 37-3 (fourth-place).

Boys high jump: Dione Allen 5-11 (second place).

Boys 4-by-100 relay: Morgan 45.38 (first-place).

Girls 4-by-100 relay: Morgan 54.0 (first-place).

Boys 4-by-200 relay: Morgan 37.69 (second-place).

Girls 4-by-400 relay: Morgan 5:18.45 (third-place).

Girls 4-by-800 relay: Morgan 13:27.29 (fourth-place).

Boys 4-by-800 relay: Morgan 10:56.91 (fourth-place).

Boys 100: Peyton Egbert 11.71 (fourth place), Sam Brackin 11.78 (fifth-place) and Hardin Utsey 11.87 (sixth-place). Meadowview Christian’s Blake Ogle 13.15 (twenty-third-place) and Brian Cameron 13.84 (twenty-sixth-place).

Girls 100: Peyton Ellen Granthum 13.17 (first-place).

Girls 200: Averee Adams 28.32 (fifth-place).

Boys 800: Britton Adams 2:32.09 (sixth place).

Girls 400: Laney Holladay 1:7.15 (first-place) and Averee Adams 1:9.6 (second place).

Girls 300 hurdles: Emily Strickland 1:6.46 (fifth place).

Girls 3200: Caroline Thomas 18:10 (fifth-place).
