Mildred Chandler Headley

Mildred Chandler Headley, age 92, of  Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, at Emerald Coast Center.
Mildred was born March 30, 1925, in Chilton County.  The family moved from Selma to Atmore before re-locating to Fort Walton Beach in 1968. Mildred worked in the lunchroom at Ocean City Elementary, Pryor Middle School and Choctawhatchee Senior High. She was a member of Wright Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford E. Headley.
Survivors include, sister Jean Green of Selma; son Ron (Rita) Headley, Brewton, Dan (Jackie) Headley, Kennesaw, Georgia, Angelia (Tasso) Knight, Duluth, Georgia and Donna (John) Bishop, Fort Walton Beach; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. followed by services at 2 p.m. at the Lawrence Brown Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will be at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Maplesville. Rev. Ron Headley will officiate.
