Whether it is Doug Jones, Roy Moore or some other candidate, everyone should get out today and cast their vote and let their voices be heard.
Selma is known around the world for fighting for the right to vote, yet so often people here don’t do what others before them died for.
There are 30 polling places in Selma and Dallas County that will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., so there is no excuse no to get out and vote. Today’s election is for a seat in the United States Senate.
We encourage everyone to go vote — republicans, democrats and everybody else.
Voting is a right everyone should be proud of and take the time to do. It only takes a few moments to go to the polls and cast your vote.
