Edmundite Missions plans gospel singing competition to celebrate 80th anniversary

The Edmundite Missions is proud to celebrate 80 years of service to those in need in the Deep South in 2017.

As part of this celebration, the Edmundite Missions is hosting the Make a Joyful Noise Gospel Competition, featuring a special performance by award-winning recording artist Deitrick Haddon.

The Edmundite Missions will host auditions for the Make a Joyful Noise Gospel Competition on Oct. 26 at 5:30 p.m. for groups, choirs and soloists.  This audition will be at the Center of Hope at 1107 Griffin Avenue in Selma.

Finalists from the auditions will perform on Nov. 6 along with special guest Haddon. This event will be held at the Pickard Auditorium inside the School of Discover at 400 Washington Street in Selma.

Finalist will compete for a chance to win first place prize of $400, second place prize of $200 and third place prize of $100. Each winner will also receive a trophy. The event is free to the public.
