Ernestine Stone Worrell passed away Oct. 10, 2017, at the age of 85.

She was born April 13, 1932 to the late Clifton Eldridge Stone and Verna Clifford Nichols.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home with Jeremy Moreland officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service.

Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, William Worrell; son, James Hugh Worrell; siblings, W.E. Stone, Claude Stone and Martha Pugh; brother-in-law, Vernon Taylor and Raymond Vinson.

She is survived by her children, Donald Phillip (Brenda) Worrell, Victor (Mary) Worrell and William E. (Sheila) Worrell Jr.; grandchildren, Buffy (Jeremy) Moreland, Allen Worrell, Amy Head and Lisa Head (Brian) Sanderson; great-grandchildren, Wesley Groves, Benjamin Moreland, Grayson Sanderson and Maddie Moreland; siblings, Myrtle Taylor, Minnie Vinson, Angerine (Charles) Huey, Eldean (Arnold) Vinson, Verna (Harley) Harrison and James (Patricia) Stone; brother-in-law, Jimmy Pugh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
