William Fredrick Portwood, age 81, of Selma, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017.

A celebration of life for friends and family will be Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, from 4–6 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

He is preceded by his parents, George and Mary Portwood; and sister, Louise Dorows.

Mr. Portwood is survived by his wife, Ina Portwood; sister, Margaret; children, Audrey Sutherland (Bo), Pat Miller, Monica Ashworth and Paul Portwood (Cathy); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
