Valley Grande Mexican Gill in Valley Grande and Maplesville are collecting items to take to victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Donations will be excepted at both restaurants until Saturday at 10 a.m.

Items like non-perishable food and bottled water will be accepted as well as diapers, formula and baby food, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The restaurant plans to deliver the items to Texas via a trailer on Sunday morning. For more information, see the restaurant’s Facebook page.
