Maplesville is on the lookout for 83-year-old William “Bill” Moody Spencer who went missing July 25.
Spencer’s white 2000 F-150 truck is also missing and can be identified by its tag 14BF212.
Spencer suffers from dementia, Town Clerk Dawn Smitherman said.
Spencer was last seen by a friend around 10:30 a.m. after his daily breakfast at a local eatery, Smitherman said.
According to Smitherman, Spencer’s grandson reported him missing when he came home in the evening to find his grandfather gone and his truck missing from the driveway.
Smitherman said the two usually share supper together during Spencer’s grandson’s stay with his grandfather this summer.
“If you see Mr. Spencer, please contact our communications center at 205-755-1120,” a Chilton County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post states.
