Gail Hollingshead Buster

Gail Hollingshead Buster passed away suddenly after a brief illness on July 9, 2017, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham. She was 60 years old.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Will Otis Hollingshead and Dorothy Skinner Hollingshead; and a brother, Herman Wayne Hollingshead.
Gail leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years, Doug Buster; her two sons, Blake (Ashley) Buster and Brent Buster; her only grandchild, Jace Buster; her brothers, Ronnie (Carol) Hollingshead and Glenn (Martha) Hollingshead; and her sister, Dianne Hollingshead. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Gail was born Aug. 11, 1956, in Selma. She lived in the Selma/Valley Grande area all of her life and was a wonderful wife, mom, “Gi-Gi,” sister, aunt and friend. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 39 years. Gail is most remembered by the residents of Selma for working alongside her husband in their photo and e-commerce businesses.
A graveside ceremony and interment will be held at Gail’s childhood church, Casey Church of Christ located at 195 County Road 465, Selma, AL 36701 on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Casey Cemetery Association or the World Wildlife Fund in remembrance of Gail who so loved and appreciated animals, nature, and the church that cultivated her Christian roots.
