All In Sports Outreach teaches fundamentals of basketball and faith

All In Sports Outreach has held their basketball camp over the last two days and will host a football camp today and tomorrow. Dribbling, shooting, passing and driving to the basketball hoop are just some of the things children have learned over the last few days, but some of the most important lessons they have learned are about life. While the camps focus on learning the fundamentals of the sports, they also teach children about having faith.

It is great to see an organization like All In Sports Outreach providing camps like these to children in our community. It not only gives them something to do, but it gives them a chance to learn from people about life and much bigger lessons than just dribbling a basketball or shooting a three-pointer.

The camp is for children ages 6-18, and it is free. It gives children a place to spend part of their day while school is out having fun and learning from positive role models.

Combining sports with faith is a great way to reach people because most everyone can relate to sports.

We applaud the effort All In Sports Outreach and the many people that help with the camps to make such a positive difference in Selma.
