Many people in Selma believe that young adults are leaving Selma for good, but we’ve found over the last five years, at least 100 that plan on staying right here.

We’ve talked 20 more adults under 40 this year that talk about their reason for staying, coming back or moving to Selma and making it their home.

Some moved here with their spouses that are from Selma, several came back after furthering their education, some never left and a few felt that Selma was meant to be their home.

They also have been doing their part in moving the city forward through their work and organizations.  We’re excited to share their stories with you. Look for this year’s 20-Under-40 edition of Selma the Magazine in early July.
