Selma City Schools posted a survey Thursday asking the community for feedback on what they want in a superintendent.

Johnny Moss, president of the school board, said the results will be used to write a job description.

We encourage everyone in the community to take part in this survey. The superintendent is an important role in our community. Their actions and success make sure the children going through school have a thorough and adequate education, and we should all want the very best for the children of Selma. After all, they are the future of our city.
