Eddie Thomas, 92, of Dallas County, passed away June 11, 2017, in Selma.

Services are scheduled for June 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. at New Rising Star P.B. Church with elder Eugene Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. Surviving are six sons, Leroy, Timothy, Lucious, Chester, Lloyd and David Thomas; daughters, Eddie M. Young and Vivian Williams; sister, Evelyn Pope; 37 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great grandchildren.
