Jessie Jean Gordon, 65, of Selma, returned to her heavenly father on Monday May 15, 2017, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Funeral service will be held at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1897 County Rd 9, Collirene, on Sunday, May 21 at 1 p.m.. Burial will follow in Dunklin Cemetery. Miller Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one devoted son, Octavius (Nakisha) Gordon of Montgomery. Five grandchildren; Quadaisha Pullom, Shawndarius Tyus and Janai Thomas of Selma and Crystal and DeMonte’ Murry of Montgomery. One brother, Brazil (Delores) Gordon of Birmingham. Two sisters, Elzora Maull of Montgomery and Martha Gordon Melton of Selma. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
