Shavon Y. Bennett-Shelton, 29, of Selma, passed away May 2, 2017, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for May 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Selmont Community Baptist Church with Pastor Edward Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens with Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ariel Shelton; son, Jeremiah Shelton; sister, Macetia Bennett.

She is survived by her parents, Quieentest and Charlie Bennett Sr.; son, Fredrick Shelton Jr.; brothers, Mericko Bennett and Charlie Bennett Jr.; two sisters-in-law; one niece; eight nephews.
