Ms. Ellen Frances Warren (Nee Moss) passed on Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Vinette Moss, and survived by her sister, Edwina Moss; niece, Michele (Albert) Johnson; grand-nephew, AJ Johnson; grand-niece, Sarah (Joshua) Bayer; and great-grand nephew, Wolfgang Everett Moss Bayer. Ellen was a 1963 graduate of Talladega College. She continued studies in New York, obtaining her masters there, and achieving the title of director of child welfare. A warm and vivacious woman, Frances is sorely missed.

Funeral mass will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with father Richard Myhalyk S.S.E. officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memorial Gardens in Selma. Arrangements entrusted to Randall Miller Funeral Service Inc.
