Selma City Hall and the Dallas County Courthouse are among the offices that will be closed in observance of Good Friday and the upcoming Easter weekend.

The Selma-Dallas County Public Library will be closed through Monday at 9 a.m. Anyone needing to drop off a book should use the book drop on Washington Street.

Sea Coast Disposal will have normal trash pickup on Friday and the Selma Post Office will be open.

Most local banks, including Trustmark and First Cahawba Bank, will also be open.

Selma City Schools, Morgan Academy, Meadowview Christian School and Ellwood Christian Academy will all be closed.

Dallas County Schools will be open Friday.
