Floyd Plemon Bowman, Jr. passed away April 6, 2017, at the age of 89. He was born Dec.9, 1927, to the late Floyd Plemon Bowman Sr. and Annie Laura Pope Bowman.

He was a graduate of the Parrish High School, class of 1946.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Jones Bowman; son, William Hunt Bowman; daughters, Ann Bowman Hart and Linda Bowman Rester; grandchildren, Christopher Gregory Hart and Matthew Austin Rester; great-grandson, Jackson Hart; step-grandson, Nick Rester; special cousins, Joyce Owens and Bobby Binford; special friends, Russell Greene, V.P. “Bo” Bosarge and Coach Larry Chapman; and numerous relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Light officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
