June Elizabeth Young, age 79, of Selma, passed away on March 14, 2017.

Mrs. Young is survived by her children: Stephen Young (Anna), Linda Rosamond (Joe); six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five siblings and a life-long friend, Bennie Stringer.

She is preceded by her husband James Young, and her two daughters Janet Young and Melissa Young.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
