Charles W. Ingram

Charles W. Ingram, 79, passed away on March 5, 2017. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial with full military honors will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include his sons, Fred Ingram and wife, Nara of Nashville and Charles L. H. Ingram of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; sisters-in law, Monika Webb and her husband, Joe of Anniston and Heidi Stoffel of Lemberg, Germany; niece, Tammy Bain of Carlton, Orgeon; nephew, Bernd Stoffel of Oppenheim, Germany and his “girls”, Trixie and Peggy Sue. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursula L. Ingram; parents, Leo and Maddie Ingram
The family wishes to say a very special thank you to Jo Ann Bono of Anniston.
Mr. Ingram was retired from the US Army after  23 years and served in Vietnam.  He was subsequently a long-haul trucker, traveling across the entire United States.  He was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Alabama ASPCA,  P.O. Box 78, Northport, Alabama 35476.
