Saturday is chance to see college up close

Concordia College Alabama will hold an open house Saturday to give potential students a closer look at the college and what it has to offer.

Norman Richards, director of recruitment for Concordia, said a group from Memphis will be coming in and some locals are expected to take part as well. A free lunch and a T-shirt will be provided to all attendees and their guests, and they’ll also get free admission to the Concordia-Selma University basketball game.

Concordia has 20 different degree paths, so there are many options for students locally and from out of state. The open house is a chance for anyone to get to know the school a little better and to determine if it’s the right fit.

We encourage anyone considering a college career — one that Concordia offers — to strongly consider going to the open house. There’s nothing to lose and plenty to gain.
