Mrs. Vera L. Jones, 83, of Selma, passed away Jan. 3, 2017, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church in Selma with the Rev. Dr. L.L. Ruffin officiating.
Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Brenda) Holmes and Jimmy McIntyre; daughters, Debra (Ed) Brooks, Brenda J. Perryman and Denise Olivia Jones; brothers, Abraham Brantley and Johnny Thomas; sisters, Alberta Floyd, Ollie Mae Lewis, and Evelyn (Harrison) Lenyard; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
