Calvester “Jim” Jemison, age 81, resident of Selma, passed away Dec. 27, 2016, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at noon at Mt. Zion with the Rev. Kirk Ellison officiating. Burial will be held at Lorenzo Harrison cemetery, directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

He is survived by a host of sons and daughters; brothers, Macarthur, Frederick, James and Jemison; sisters, MaeLoise Pettway, Doris Johnson, Helen Stewart and Bernice Polnitz; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
