Laura Ann Getchell

Laura Ann Getchell, of Selma, passed away Jan. 1, 2017, at the age of 62.

She was preceded in death by her father, William B. Longcrier; and daughter, Allison Nicole Harris. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Getchell; children, Christina Harris Smith (Mike), KK Harris, Keri (Jonathan) Duke and Sheri Getchell; mother, Lola Longcrier; sister, Sue Longcrier; brother, Craig (Wren) Longcrier; grandchildren, Drew Smith, Ally Smith, Dustin Getchell and Hayden Duke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Nita Longcrier, Monica (Gary) Farley and their children, Randall and Paisley; Brandon Morrison and children, Riley and Maggie; Colby Morrison (Shae) and their child Seth, Kendra (Thomas) Day and their daughter Gracelynn. She is also survived by many close friends of the family; and all the children that were raised at Raggedy Ann’s Daycare Center.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Rod Rochester officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Day, Colby Morrison, Brandon Morrison, Jonathan Duke, Chris Nichols and George Hayes.
