Valencia Mitchell, 35, of Selma, passed away Dec. 27, 2016, at Baptist South.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Elbethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Petterson officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Delane Mitchell; son, Le’Darius Mitchell; daughter, Shemya Mitchell; two sisters, Melanie Mitchell and Demetrius Mitchell; nephew, Jakobe Mitchell; three aunts; and 12 uncles.
