Mr. Derrick A. Tyus, 25, of Selma, passed away Dec. 23, 2016, at UAB. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at noon at Lily Grove with the Rev. Michael Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Tyus Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his parents, Derrick Brooks and Barbara Tyus; four brothers, Shaquille Tyus, Ja’Derious Tyus, Earnest Foster and Dontravious Suttles; sister, Derriyma Brooks; and grandparents, Clarence Tyus, Mirian Tyus and Barnetha Brooks.
