Ms. Brenda Smith, 75, of Dallas County, passed away Dec. 12, 2016, in Birmingham. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Marshall officiating.

Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Philip A. Sapp and Elma V. Tyson.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Smith; three daughters, Alberta Smith, Samara Smith, and Cassandra Smith; brother, Kenneth Sapp; sisters, Rehba Ingram; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
