Mr. Elton L. Henderson, 72, of Selma, passed away Dec. 1, 2016 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, 12 noon at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Selma with the Rev. Johnnie Blount officiating. Burial will follow in Greater New Hope Cemetery in Selma with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by six sons, Michael Effinger, Raymond Mitchell, Elton Effinger, Prince Martinear, Fredrick Henderson, and Rafeal Henderson; two daughters, Rochell Alexander and Yolanda Montgomery; four brothers, Wilbert Whitt, Joseph Henderson, John Henderson, and James Henderson; five sisters, Belzoria Young, Alma Childers, Jeanetta Venson, Louveinna Henderson, and Ronona Edwards; 23 grandchilren; 31 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
