Ms. Willie W. Mitchell, 74, of Orrville, and of the Providence Baptist Church, passed away Oct. 27, 2016, at UAB Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove C.P. Church with the Rev. Gregory Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Mitchell Sr.; and parents, John James and Catherine Wilson Sr. She is survived by two sons, Gerry (Nekita) Mitchell and Willie James Mitchell Jr.; two daughters, Cynthia (Sedrick) Smith and Sharon (Dennis) Fluker; two step-daughters, Angela (George) Moorer and Vernell (Vernon) Crenshaw; two brothers, James Wilson and Nathaniel (Victoria) Wilson; two sisters, Gussie Bailey and Catherine Crenshaw; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
