Phoenix park on Water Avenue was full of people and pets Saturday for the first annual Howl-O-Ween carnival.
It was so nice to see people coming out to support the Selma Animal Shelter, Wannabe Rescued and Selma’s Purrrfect Pals.
Children, adults and their furry friends were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes.
It was great to see an event in Selma that allowed everyone, including pets, to come out and participate. Not only was it fun for everyone involved, it also benefitted the animal rescue organizations. Pet stores and veterinarian offices were also there to participate.
It’s great to see all of the organizations working together to provide such a fun event for the community, while also supporting the animals.
We hope to see more events like this in the future.
