Louise S. Thomas, 87, of Selma, passed away Oct. 22, 2016, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at noon at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church in Selma with the Rev. Clinton Peeples officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. She is survived by two daughters, Irene (Walter) Parker and Annie (Rufus) Watkins of Selma; two brothers, Leroy (Helen) Stewart and Alonzo Stewart of Selma; five sisters, Irene Smith of Montgomery, Belzora (Roy) Sharp of Selma, Mattie (Dennis) Donwell of Decatur, Georgia, Alice Mae (Ulysses) Norris and Leola Smith both of Detroit, Michigan; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
