Betty Hudgins Jones passed away Oct. 10, 2016, at the age of 77.

She was born Jan. 7, 1939, to the late Ezra Hutchins and Odell Bradberry Hudgins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Larry Jones; and sister, Faye Smith.

She is survived by her children, Cindy (Tommy) Ellis and Kenneth D. Jones; grandchildren, Brandy Jones (Jeremy) Hughey, Mallory Ellis (David) Snider and Taylor Nicole Ellis; great-grandchildren, Ava Snider and Carson Snider; daughter-in-law, Sandy Jones; sister, Irene (Rufus) Thompson; and brothers-in-law, Gerry Jones and Lloyd Smith.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jacob Elliot and the Rev. Henry Levert officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Ingram, Tommy Cogle, Randall Bruner, George Yocum, Skipper Ellis and Ricky Boozer.
