Mr. Winston L. Woods, 87, of Jones, passed away Sept. 15, 2016, in Jones. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at 12 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Selma. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by two sons, Melvin (Linda) Woods and Allen (Sylvia) Woods; daughter, Margaret Woods; brother, James “Jim” Woods; brother-in-law, Waddell Calhoun; sisters, Eva W. Magee, Gussie L. Woods, Mary L. Woods and Betty J. Woods; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
