Mr. Edward M. King Sr., 50, of Selma, passed away Sept 2, 2016, at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his parents, Willie and Willie Mae Reese; son, Edward M. King Jr. of Mobile; daughter, Monica R. King of Nashville, Tennessee; five brothers, Phillip King III, Francis King, John (Sandra) King, Ryan Reese, and Willie Reese Jr., all of Selma; sister, Elaine Reese of Detroit, Michigan; one grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews; and devoted and loving aunt, Gloria Mason.
