Clifford Earl Ousley, 32, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3 while competing in a motorcycle event. He was born in Selma on May 18, 1984. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Pam Ousley; Sister, Julie Ousley and Cody Knight; Future Niece Carter Lynn; Brother, Neal Ousley and special friend Emily Thrash; love of his life, Tanner Logan Chapman; and numerous Ousley and Carter family members who loved him as their own; extensive number of friends and SECCA and SERA race families.
After graduating from Auburn University, Cliff moved to Orange Beach where he worked in landscape design and irrigation. An avid sprotsman, Cliff loved to fish, hunt, and travel across the U.S. to participate in competitive motorcycle events.
He loved deeply — whether it was his mom and dad, his brother or sister, Tanner, his friends and family, or life itself. Even though racing was his passion, his lord and savior was No.1. As Cliff would say, “God, family, racing.”
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Ebenezer Baptist Church beginning at 5 p.m. for family and 6-8:30 p.m. for friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with visitation at 10 a.m.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayer and love shown during this difficult time. The family asks that everyone please write and send or bring a story/memory of Cliff.
No flowers, please make any contributions in Cliff’s name to the SECCA Scholarship Fund Kim DeLoach, 2840 Co. Rd. 26, in Plantersville, AL 36758 or the Ebenezer Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 56, Stanton, AL 36790.
