Labor Day is right around the corner, and many businesses and offices in Selma will be closed for the holiday.

The Selma Public Works Department will run a holiday schedule for trash pick-up. There will be no trash pickups on Monday. Trash service will resume its regular scheduled pickup day on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Sea Coast Disposal will be closed for the Labor Day holiday, and will resume services on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 8 a.m.

City Hall will be closed Monday, Sept. 5 until Tuesday, Sept. 6 for the holidays and will reopen at 8:30 a.m.

The Dallas County Courthouse will be closed for the holidays on Monday, Sept. 5 until Tuesday, Sept. 6 and will reopen at 8:30 a.m.

The United States Post Office will be closed, and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 8:30 a.m.

The Selma-Dallas County Public Library will be closed September 3-5 for Labor Day weekend and will resume regular hours at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Use the book drop at the Washington Street entrance to return book items.
