Morgan Academy rebounded from a tough loss Thursday to defeat East Memorial Christian Academy in three sets, 25-9, 25-13, and 25-16 on Friday in Prattville.

The victory pulled the Lady Senators even at 1-1 on the season, and marked the first-ever volleyball coaching win for new Morgan head coach Kayla Mason.

Against EMCA, Morgan was not to be denied. They opened big leads in each set before cruising to victory over the Lady Wildcats.

Morgan’s next game is at home against Lowndes Academy on Monday at 5 p.m.
