Lydia Mae Gibbs, 90, of Selma, passed away July 20, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lee Gibbs Sr.

Surviving are her children, Lee (Kerry Phillips) Gibbs, Tim (Darlene) Gibbs, Deloris Hannah and Gail (John) Hurst; and grandchildren, Brandon Gibbs, Gregsby Gibbs, Kendall Gibbs, Erin Harris, Jordan Leigh Gibbs, Carson Gibbs, Taylor Hannah, Travis Hannah, Johnny Hurst and Christy  Beckett.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 23 at Selma Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Cory Horton officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. The family will have a private burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery in Gadsden with Selma Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to International Mission Board, 3806 Monument Ave., Richmond, VA 23230.
