Lonnie G. Shadrick, 78, of Minter, passed away at his home on July 13, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his  parents, Lonzo and Lorene Shadrick, and his brothers, Charles Shadrick and Robert E. Shadrick.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Shadrick; children, Stacey Shadrick, Shane (Bridget) Shadrick and Megan (Lanny) Harrison; sister, Doris Jordan; grandchildren, Shana (Taylor) Edwards, Kendall Shadrick, Olivia Carswell and Ivy Shadrick; great-grandson, Robert Tucker Edwards; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 15 at 1 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rod Rochester officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service from noon-1 p.m.  Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Selma Area Food Bank, 497 Oak Street, Selma, AL, 36701.
